LiteTouch Face Masks by Philips Respironics are designed for use with the OptiChamber Diamond Valved Holding Chamber (VHC) in conjunction with metered dose inhalers (MDI). The detachable LiteTouch mask really is the premier choice for maximizing inhalation therapy when using the OptiChamber Diamond (VHC). Made in two pieces - a clear shell molded onto a soft, cushioned edge that contours gently and securely to the face - LiteTouch masks require minimal pressure to obtain a good fit, and less technique than a mouthpiece to achieve optimum results from treatments. Medication is delivered in as few as two breaths, with reduced leakage. Replace once a year. Latex free.

LiteTouch Face Masks are recommended for:
  • Those unable to fully close their lips around the mouthpiece or take one full inhalation and breath hold
  • Infants and young children who cannot use the OptiChamber mouthpiece
  • Anyone who prefers a mask to a mouthpiece

Soft-seal LiteTouch Face Masks with cushioned edge come in 3 sizes:
  • Small - 0-18 months
  • Medium - 1-5 years
  • Large - 5 years to adult

Directions for Use:
The LiteTouch Mask by Respironics is used with the OptiChamber Diamond Valved Holding Chamber (VHC). Please see the Owner's Manual tab for instructions associated with using and caring for this device, including the mask.

Using, Cleaning and Replacement:
  • The LiteTouch Mask is used in place of OptiChamber's integrated mouthpiece. To attach, place the mask connector over the OptiChamber mouthpiece and gently twist until it fits securely.
  • The LiteTouch Mask uses soft-seal technology that requires only minimal pressure to maintain a proper seal on the face during treatments.
  • Wash the mask after each use (or minimally weekly).
  • Disassemble the mask from OptiChamber by rotating until it detaches.
  • Agitate in warm, soapy water using liquid dish soap for 2 minutes or soak for 10 minutes.
  • Rinse thoroughly in clean, running water, then allow to air dry before storing or reassembly.
  • Do NOT clean the mask in dishwasher or autoclave.
  • Replace mask approximately once per year.
